Essential, analytics and child-specific tracking rules

1. Technologies

Veri-AQ may use cookies, local/session storage, SDK identifiers and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, payment hand-off and approved analytics.

2. Essential technologies

Essential technologies may operate without optional analytics consent where necessary for security, authentication, fraud prevention, session management, load balancing, privacy choices and core platform operation, subject to applicable law.

3. Optional analytics

• Optional analytics must not receive assignment text, AI Tutor conversations, portfolio content, learner names, student numbers, guardian identifiers or protected report content.
• Optional analytics must respect applicable consent/preference signals.
• If an analytics configuration cannot be operated without protected academic/child content leakage, it must be disabled.

4. Children

Behavioural advertising and unnecessary profiling are disabled for child users by default. U.S. under-13 processing must comply with the active COPPA configuration, including separate parental consent where the Rule requires it for third-party disclosures.

5. International processing

A foreign analytics, support or delivery provider that receives personal information must be included in the vendor register and applicable transfer assessment before activation.

6. User choices

Where optional technologies are not necessary, users should be able to reject them without losing core service functionality. Browser controls may also be used, but rejecting essential technologies may prevent secure account operation.

Legal review and mandatory-law notice. This policy framework is designed for Veri-AQ operations and must be reviewed by appropriately qualified counsel before a new entity, jurisdiction, school contract, under-13 U.S. workflow or materially new processing purpose is launched. Nothing in this document excludes rights or duties that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.
