A parent or guardian creates the account, confirms the learner's age and gives consent. Junior is for ages 12 to 17, and that boundary is enforced on our servers, not just hidden in the interface.
The Learner Gets Their Own Workspace
Tools, tone and expectations are pitched at the learner's age band — 12 to 13, 14 to 15, or 16 to 17 — and become more independent as they move up. Same price, different scaffolding.
Coaching, Not Answers
Teach, hint, try, check, improve. Every tool is built to develop the skill rather than hand over finished work, and on graded work that boundary tightens rather than relaxes.
Guardians Stay Informed, Not Intrusive
Guardians see progress, safety and usage. They do not automatically get private drafts or full tutor transcripts. That line is deliberate, and it holds at the API, not just in the interface.

Junior runs on the same analysis and tutoring engines as the rest of Veri-AQ — not a cut-down copy — with age-banded pedagogy, guardian consent and scoped privacy around them.
Originality Check
See where work matches existing sources, with education-first language. A similarity score is a prompt to look closer, never an automatic accusation of misconduct.
Writing Coach
Critique, explanation and revision guidance on structure, argument, clarity and academic tone. It will not quietly become a ghostwriter for graded work.
Assignment Coach
Break down what the task actually asks. Identify command words, build a checklist, plan the work. Understanding the question is where most marks are won or lost.
Ask Veri
A tutor that teaches, hints and checks an attempt rather than producing submission-ready answers. Ask it to do the assignment and it will offer to help you do it instead.

A learner who understands attribution, source credibility and honest effort before matric does not have to learn it under pressure afterwards. Junior exists to make those habits ordinary, then get out of the way.
