This Supplement applies to U.S. processing when the contracting entity is the future Wyoming entity identified in the Entity and Jurisdiction Schedule, or where U.S. law otherwise applies. Until the Wyoming entity is formed and activated, the schedule must not present it as an existing contracting entity.
The Master Privacy Notice describes the categories of information and purposes. This Supplement adds U.S.-specific disclosures and rights where applicable federal or state law requires them.
Veri-AQ’s standard U.S. Junior launch is ages 13–17. Collection from a U.S. child under 13 is disabled unless and until a COPPA-compliant workflow is activated, including the required parental notice, verifiable parental consent, retention/deletion controls and provider safeguards.
Where a school discloses FERPA-protected education records to Veri-AQ under an applicable exception such as the school-official exception, Veri-AQ uses those records only for the authorised institutional purpose and subject to the U.S. Institution/FERPA DPA and the school’s direct-control requirements.
Where a state comprehensive privacy law applies to Veri-AQ based on the user’s residency, the nature of the data and any statutory applicability threshold, Veri-AQ will provide the applicable access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, appeal or other rights required by that law. The State Privacy Schedule controls the operational mapping.
Veri-AQ does not currently sell student or learner academic content and does not use child academic content for targeted advertising. Any advertising or cross-context behavioural use would require a separate legal and product approval and is disabled for child users by default.
Veri-AQ does not currently place user submissions into a global cross-customer corpus and does not currently use user content for general model training. Future introduction would require new disclosures and any rights/consent required by applicable U.S. law.
U.S. privacy requests may be sent to privacy@veri-aq.com. Users may also exercise rights through any additional state-specific mechanism published for the applicable jurisdiction.
Legal review and mandatory-law notice. This policy framework is designed for Veri-AQ operations and must be reviewed by appropriately qualified counsel before a new entity, jurisdiction, school contract, under-13 U.S. workflow or materially new processing purpose is launched. Nothing in this document excludes rights or duties that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.
