Version 1.0 · 1 July 2026
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - HOME SCHOOL AND JUNIOR Guardian account, learner use, AI Tutor, subscriptions and child safeguards Operating entity
PARAMOUNT ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS (PTY) LTD
Home School is a guardian-managed education product. Junior is a direct learner experience for ages 12-17 with guardian oversight and granular consent. A guardian purchase does not automatically make every private Junior conversation visible to the guardian.
The subscription agreement is ordinarily between Veri-AQ and the adult guardian/account holder. Home School learner profiles and Junior learner accounts are linked to an approved guardian relationship. The guardian must provide accurate information and have lawful authority to act in relation to the learner.
Junior is only for learners aged 12-17. Age must be verified through the approved server-side process. A learner outside the approved age range must not be provisioned through Junior.
Protected processing uses granular, versioned consent per guardian-learner relationship. Separate scopes cover AI tutoring, academic-content processing/uploads and guardian visibility. Data export and deletion are handled as a recorded request and permission, not as a consent toggle. Consent may be revoked and must be reconfirmed after a material policy change, guardian change or annual review cycle.
Important: Private Junior AI Tutor conversations and draft work are not automatically visible to the guardian. Visibility is controlled by the approved policy/permission settings and enforced by the backend. The guardian may receive authorised account, consent, subscription, progress, safety and report information. Where content is learner-private, the guardian must not attempt to bypass platform restrictions or pressure Veri-AQ to disclose content outside the applicable visibility/legal rules.
The AI Tutor is a learning-support tool. It may explain concepts, scaffold tasks, provide practice and feedback, and help the learner understand requirements. It may not be used to facilitate academic fraud or to bypass institution rules. Tutor outputs may be inaccurate and should be checked.
Home School may hold curriculum, attendance, mastery/progress, assignments/assessments, learning-gap diagnostics, reports and portfolio evidence. The guardian is responsible for using those records consistently with applicable home-education obligations and for exporting records before account closure where needed.
Child information is processed under the Privacy Notice, Children and Under-18 User Notice and Guardian Consent Standard. Core storage is intended to remain on controlled South African infrastructure. Approved external services may receive only the minimum information required after the applicable Privacy Gateway, vendor and cross-border controls. Retention periods vary by category and are defined in the Retention and Deletion Policy.
The guardian may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect after the paid subscription period ends. Access continues until that date. Veri-AQ does not offer discretionary or pro-rata refunds. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Veri-AQ may restrict a feature or account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, security risk, unlawful use, serious academic-integrity abuse, attempts to bypass guardian/learner privacy controls or another material breach. Where appropriate, affected users will be informed.
Material privacy/consent changes may require guardian reconfirmation. Junior learners should receive a short ageappropriate privacy guide explaining what is collected, what a guardian can and cannot see by default, and how to seek help, correction or deletion.
